Ricardo Elgardo

Ricardo Elgardo - dj & producer from Southend, Essex, UK. Started his musical career in the early 2000s as a dj named Rich-E then turned his focus to production years later under the alias Ricardo Elgardo. In 2015 he won an award for Best Soundtrack Feature at the Action On Film Festival held in Los Angeles for his original score work on the action film “The Liberator”. Since then he has worked on numerous short film scores and now focuses on producing his true passion for music, Progressive & Organic House and Breaks. Ricardo has also created his own brand Excessive Progressive, which has been a successful local club night, a ongoing dj mix series and a bi-weekly radio show on local community dance radio station Digital City Radio, where he showcases the best chilled, deep and progressive house music along with his own productions and remixes. With releases on labels such as Alter Ego Progressive, Krafted Digital, Capital Heaven & Boomtic Records, his music is constantly hitting the top 10 Beatport releases charts and is definitely one to keep an ear out for especially with new music always on the horizon!
