Daniel Gomez, also known as DJ Ultrasonico, is a Guadalajara-based DJ and producer, widely recognized as part of Mexico’s early electronic music movement. With over three decades in the scene, he played an active role in shaping the country’s Progressive House sound since the early 1990s. His style is rooted in Progressive House, naturally evolving into Organic House and Melodic Techno, characterized by deep grooves, atmospheric textures, and emotive storytelling. His production career began in 2013 with his first release on Baroque Records, launching an international catalog that now includes over 80 releases across more than 35 labels, including Baroque Records, 3rd Avenue, Balkan Connection, Droid9, PHW Elements, and Stripped Music. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with globally respected artists such as Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, and Lee Burridge, performing across Mexico, the United States, and Europe. His productions have received consistent support from key figures in the global electronic scene, including Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, and Above & Beyond. He is also the host of Extinction, a monthly radio show on DI.FM, one of the world’s leading electronic music platforms.
