i am a berlin born producer who started djing in 2012 shortly after, i discovered ableton and turned every knob i saw when you do that long enough, things really do start to make sense! i didn ́t watch any youtube tutorials at the time, just shooting house tracks out the hip was all not only house though, also dubstep, psytrance, lo-fi, you name it.. back then, i produced on a 5.1 teufel movie soundsystem in a 10m2 room lol, of course it sounded crappy^^ my sound environment evolved, and i started to use youtube tutorials to make sense of all the sound technical stuff it does wonders, i tell ya.. so there i was, turning knobs for a hobby and working in a little bar in Berlin, Wedding and on one day, some guy came early and wanted to check our soundsystem for his birthdayparty while doing so, he put on my very first downtempo track ever man was i stunned by it.. just the idea of producing such bpms was mindblowing! well.. and then i got stuck and lost in the world of downtempo <3 sadly never thanked the guy properly :/ Finally having found my genre-place-to-be, i listened to everything i could find and bathed in it experimenting as i was, i soon tried different downtempo styles, interpreted many of my beloved artists and fooled around a lot but i think i will stop. i want to look inward what do i wanna do? how do i sound like? well we will see soon going live in 2023
