REYNEKE makes high-energy club tracks that sit between Indie Dance, Tech House and Bounce, written for peak time rather than the after hours. He releases on Tipping Point and on his own label. Several tracks have landed in the Top 50 of Beatport's Indie Dance and Mainstage charts, and they get regular play from DJs including Frida Darko and Horst Haller. Live, he has played festivals like Mystic Creatures, Mit Dir and Zugvögel as well as Berlin clubs including Sisyphos and Wilde Renate. He took the long way there: classical guitar as a kid in southern Bavaria, punk bands as a teenager, goa parties that turned him toward producing, then years of reggae and dancehall instrumentals. Moving to Berlin in 2010 brought him back to electronic music, at first at downtempo speeds. As Bassara, the project he ran until the end of 2023, he appeared at Fusion, Bucht der Träumer and Wonderfruit in Thailand. The tempo has been climbing since, and a collaboration with Sahra Bass is on the way.
