Mellos Brothers

Mellos Brothers is a renowned Colombian DJ and producer duo, specialising in mixing electronic music across genres such as Deep House, House, Minimal House, and Tech House. The duo is made up of twin brothers Juan Pablo Ortegón and Daniel Ortegón, born on 27 May 1989 in the city of Girardot, Colombia. In 2014, Juan Pablo and Daniel held their first event in their hometown, marking the official beginning of Mellos Brothers as a musical duo, creating their own live sets and original mixes. A few years later, they launched a brand in collaboration with Baum Club, known as Pool Series — events held from 2016 to 2019, featuring both national and international artists. Mellos Brothers have spread their sound across various key venues in Bogotá’s electronic music scene, such as Armando Records, Radio Berlin, Baum, Octava, -1, Incógnito, Mad Radio, among others. They have also taken their music to cities including Medellín, Armenia, Cali, Cartagena, and Pasto. They have been invited to perform and appear on prominent national and international platforms, including: Irreversibles (Mexico City), Downtown Tulum Radio (Stmul 8 Radio Show), MX Showcase, Adidas Originals CMX, Radio Show Spain and Dubai, Electronic Music COL, Labsession COL, and Evolution Groove COL. Furthermore, they have shared the stage with major figures in the electronic music world such as Stefano Noferini, Waaff, Dennis Cruz, Cuartero, Elena Pavla, Joey Daniel, Anthony Pappa, Detlef, Joris Voorn, Lee Curtiss, Danny Howells, Doomwork, Paco Osuna, Antoine Clamaran, and many more.
