Jack Carlu

Born in 1990 in La Spezia, Italy, he started his journey in heavy music with "Piece of Mind" by Iron Maiden when he was only 4 years old (but mostly because he liked the monster on the cover). Now comes the main question: how the hell a metal guy started to produce electronic music in the FIrst place? Well, this metal guy always wanted to make his own music but he was not wise enough to learn how to play an instrument and, by spending some time with his friends being in a band, he realized that he would never want to get big headaches because of bad behaving band members. Electronic music came when he was almost 30 and he started to be more open-minded (very uncommon for a metal-head). One day, he was looking for a purpose for his laptop, in order to be allowed to sit at Starbucks, and suddenly he was illuminated: "I like to produce my own music, I like electronic music, electronic music can be made with a computer, I found the way to sit at Starbucks!" He downloaded his first DAW and started straight away in experimenting and learning from online tutorials. His first music was kinda inspired by synthwave artists, then moved to techno music. So far his style is continuously evolving by the artists that he admires the most. "The reason why I chose techno is because it has 3 things in common with metal: heavy, dark and black clothes are required".
