Biemsix has steadily carved out a name for himself in the electronic music scene through a combination of dedication, creative vision, and a deep-rooted passion for dance music. Immersed in his local scene from an early age, he gradually caught attention as his sound evolved into a cleaner, more techno-driven aesthetic shaped by club culture. Over time, Biemsix emerged as a respected and versatile figure in underground circles, known for his distinctive productions that blur the lines between genres. His DJ career has grown in parallel with his work as a producer. It all began in his hometown of Andria (Puglia), where he started organizing parties with friends. That grassroots energy led to invitations from clubs around the region, and eventually to a residency at Mandarino—an iconic afterhours venue that regularly welcomed the crowd flowing out of Clorophilla Club, one of southern Italy’s most recognized clubs. During that time, he also played opening sets at Clorophilla itself. After relocating to Berlin, his reach expanded across Europe. He performed at clubs like Tresor Berlin, where he shared the booth with artists such as James Ruskin, and also appeared at events linked to Sonar in Barcelona. His performances have taken him to cities like Lyon (Le Sucre), Lisbon, Biel (Switzerland), and Milan. A milestone moment in his live career came with his debut live set performance at Crack Bellmer in Berlin—a turning point that brought his hardware-based creative process directly to the stage. These are just some of the highlights from a journey that reflects how his DJ and production paths have always evolved hand in hand. Since his debut release in 2011, Biemsix has continued to refine his artistic voice, consistently exploring the edges of modern techno while staying grounded in rhythmic sensibility and emotional depth. His most acclaimed works have landed on some of the scene’s most influential labels, including Ben Sims’s Symbolism, Dustin Zahn’s Enemy Records, and Scuba’s Hotflush—each one a testament to his ability to adapt without losing identity. A major turning point arrived with the release of Find Your Own Meaning, Biemsix’s debut full-length album. The project expanded his profile and showcased a deeper level of conceptual and sonic maturity. The album’s standout track, “Clear,” gained support from several leading figures in the techno world. Jeff Mills, one of the genre’s true pioneers, played it at multiple festivals—including Awakenings—enhancing it with his signature 909 solo to push the crowd into overdrive. The track also appeared in Ben Klock’s now-iconic house set at DGTL Amsterdam, where he reimagined it with acapella overlays, giving it a unique, genre-blending twist. Another highlight from Biemsix’s discography, “Gonna Remember,” was selected by Ben Klock for his Klockdown Spotify playlist. The list, curated during a particularly introspective moment in global culture, highlighted tracks that carried emotional and personal weight—further underscoring the resonance of Biemsix’s work. As for why he releases music, there’s no single answer. In part, it stems from a personal need to give the music a place in the world—to make sure it exists beyond the studio, where people can discover it, return to it, and share it. It’s about leaving a trace. On the artistic side, the process has evolved naturally: as interest in his work grew, labels and artists began reaching out for unreleased material. That organic loop—where past releases sparked new opportunities—has played a big part in why his music keeps finding its way into the world. Biemsix’s recent EP, Emptyverse, represents the next evolution of his sound—sharper, more focused, and deeply immersive. The project also marks the launch of Exekute, a label founded by Jan Goertz and designed as a platform for uncompromising, forward-pushing techno. As its first release, Emptyverse sets a definitive tone: raw, hypnotic, and surgically precise. Accompanying the EP is a dedicated live set—recorded using the same hardware setup employed in the record’s production—offering a rare glimpse into the tactile side of Biemsix’s creative process. It bridges studio intricacy with live performance energy, pulling the listener into a world built from rhythm, texture, and intention. The release has received support from key underground tastemakers and has been championed by artists such as Laurent Garnier and Marcel Dettmann. One of its tracks was also featured on Spotify’s Brain Food playlist, signaling a resonance that reaches beyond the club circuit.
