Vic Flairs’s musical journey started at the age of 11 playing the drums every Sunday at a local church in rural New Mexico for 4 years as part of the local praise and worship team. By age 16 he had successfully sneaked out of his parents home to attend underground warehouse and desert raves in El Paso, Texas where he encountered like-minded individuals of equivalent musical aptitude. It is at this time that he, along with some of the same eager electronic music aficionados, founded the True Vibe Tribe and took it upon himself to spin only the rawest drum and bass around. True Vibe Tribe’s renegade parties have offered him not only a stage to display his impeccable timing and rhythm as well as a knack for beat matching diverse genres within a single set... but also his graphic art efforts in the form of rave flyers, a skill that has allowed him to fund his craft and lead him to perform alongside legendary locals from Baltimore, Maryland to Eugene, Oregon as well as his hometown of Juarez, Mexico while also sharing the stage with renown acts such as Habersham (Chi Recordings/Lobotomy Records), Sascha Weber (Munich, Germany) and Bill Patrick (Private Stock/ Robots, NYC) as well as headline the yearly Northwest festival Where Life Begins in 2006, not to mention countless bar events, art shows, and podcasts
