David Moreau

David Kracht (David Moreau) is a real "Berlin kid". Born and raised in Friedrichshain, he found his way to electronic music early on. In the mid-90s, the club scene around Berlin became his second home. E-Werk, Tresor and the Isle of Youth with their driving rhythms, darkness and heat are formative for his style during this time. The sets of the Berliner, a hypnotic mixture of driving beats and melodic elements with rough edges, regularly make the audience sweat. Firmly anchored in techno, he uses the power of well chosen tracks from yesterday, today and tomorrow to fill the dance floors of the clubs. With his passion for basslines & drums in his choice of records, David gets his audience moving on the dance floors of the venues. One eye always on the audience to harness the energy of the moment for the mix, the DJ booth has long become his home. David started to express his own style in notes and sounds a few years ago. He took his first steps with minimal equipment in his kitchen at home and presented it to the first listeners. This is also where the track for the Zug der Liebe compilation 2020 "Stay @ Home" on NeuHain Rec. was created, which would have sounded significantly different according to today's knowledge and the current way of working. Now David has optimized his work flow and tools and has a much better grip, which can be heard on the current productions.
