Nolan Evans aka Dj Positive Friction & Shamash Live has 25 years that span the EDM Scene. From Early Promotion in the late 90s to Djing from 2001 to the present. In 1999 Nolan came into the local Rave scene under the name Dj Positive Friction and still uses this name when asked to play some events under it. As Positive Friction Nolan opened and played with many artists/DJs 1 of the best was Darude back when sandstorm first hit the USA. From that show on Nolan played large events from Boise, Id, Portland, Ore, Seattle Wa, Las Vegas, NV and Events in northern California. He was promoted for Musik Freak Records and with this group was able to help bring names such as Planet of the Drums to Idaho and others including SPL / Champagne Drip, Donald Glaude, Baby Anne, D-Fuse and many more. In 2004 Nolan broke from promotion to focus more on Djing. Opened many early festivals from 2004 to 2006 including Esthetic Evolution and Burning Man Events and Decompression Events. Going away from the club and back to the outdoor events. In 2018 he started to take the knowledge and experience of the progressive House scene to start producing his first tracks. The nfluence of Bedrock, Faded, Outta Limits and many more helps define the style of music produced by Nolan. Now in 2022, Nolan Evans will be doing his first release on Compatible Music with the help of owner Sebastian Markiewicz. Progressive Beats, lush pads, arp leads are the backbone of Nolan's music and he will continue to progress and produce Dance tracks.
