DJ Straw

DJ Straw is a Mexican DJ, producer, and remixer with an outstanding career in the electronic music scene. He began his professional career in 2006, showcasing a passion and dedication for electronic music that led him to build a solid trajectory in the industry. In 2008, his track "My Beat" was selected by Beat 100.9 radio station to be part of their 8th-anniversary compilation, marking one of the first major milestones in his career. In 2010, he founded his record label, Strawberry Digital Made Recordings, which has since stood out in Mexico and internationally, supporting both local and international talents. That same year, he gained significant recognition by winning Sander Kleinenberg’s Remix Contest with the track "This Is Our Night", propelling his career and establishing him as an emerging talent in the global industry. In 2013, he released his album "Crash", celebrated with a special event at the Feria de Chapultepec, where hundreds of fans gathered for an unforgettable night. That same year, his track "Nothing To Say", a collaboration with Javy X and Annie Hernandez, was included in Fabio XB's set during the iconic ASOT 600 (A State of Trance) event, taking his music to the international trance scene. In 2021, his track "Love Me Now" became a phenomenon on Mexican radio, staying for several weeks on Beat 100.9’s popularity charts and reaching 4th place among the year’s most-voted tracks. In 2022, DJ Straw released a reinterpretation of the classic "I’m Not In Love" with Shei Durand, which was very well-received by audiences and quickly became a fan favorite. That same year, his track "We Are The Stars Tonight" was included in Beat 100.9’s annual chart, further solidifying his relevance in the scene. In 2023, his success continued with the track "Don’t Cry", which also earned a spot on Beat 100.9’s annual chart, further cementing his status as one of Mexico’s leading electronic music artists. In 2022 and 2023, DJ Straw performed at the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Mexico, sharing the stage with renowned international artists. Throughout his career, DJ Straw has released over 100 tracks, including original productions and remixes, collaborating with labels such as Beat Recordings, Otolum Records, Shax Trax, Molacacho Records, Suite Music, and Istmo Music. Today, DJ Straw remains a prominent figure in electronic music, standing out for his creativity, talent, and commitment to the musical scene.
