Ian Faces, known as Sub Fixx, began his journey as a DJ in 1999. With a background in hip hop that expanded into an extensive range of music genres, he discovered a thrilling passion for electronic music, which has captivated him for several years. Overcoming significant challenges in both music and life, Faces has emerged from a difficult past. Music has always been his greatest passion, fueling every aspect of his existence. Originally from Calgary, AB, his breakthrough came after relocating to British Columbia. He settled in Victoria, where he secured his first residency at Salute Lounge. With influences from artists like Jack Beats, Dirty Loud, Filthy Rehab, AC Slater, and Dirty Underground Bass lines, Sub Fixx delivers an exciting mix to the crowd. His variety, high energy, and approachable demeanor ensure that everyone leaves satisfied and eager for more. After spending some time in Northern B.C, Faces has found himself solitude on Northern Vancouver Island. Watch for this artist as he emerges into the festvial scene after spending some time off stage perdomantly focused on production. As Faces' music career has progressed, so has his style and identity. He is now releasing original productions under the name Sub Fixx, skillfully merging elements of UK Garage, House, Future House, Electro, and even Fidget, while gradually evolving into Drum & Bass.
