Romain Say is a French DJ and electronic music producer originally from Reunion Island, now active on the European techno scene. Starting out as a bass player in a band, he dove deep into music production during the 2020 lockdown. That’s when he found his sound: a peak time techno that’s punchy, melodic, and groovy, blending raw club energy with deeper, cinematic textures. His signature style combines powerful riffs, intense breaks, and melodic touches drawn from melodic techno and the hypnotic grooves of psytrance — a fusion crafted for both clubs and festival stages. In the studio, his work quickly paid off and he’s released on respected labels like Renesanz, IAMT, Space Kraft, Prospect Records, and Reload Records. His productions are supported across Europe for their balance of tension and emotion. On stage, Romain Say delivers powerful, high-energy sets designed to take the crowd on a journey. He’s shared the bill with artists like Sascha Braemer, Fernanda Martins, Madben, Pablo Say and Olivier Giacomotto, and also performs in a unique DJ set and live violin format with Jenna, a violinist. A performance that blends the drive of electronic music with the sensitivity of live strings, creating an immersive and striking experience.
