Lisa Oakes

Lisa's journey into music began after an introduction to techno at a young age which quickly evolved into a lifelong passion . After making the steps to teach herself how to make music her breakthrough moment came with the release of her debut EP, which soared to the number 1 spot on the beatport hard techno charts. Her producing style varies between hypnotic and the harder side of techno and is heavily influenced by her love of the techno from the 90's and early 00's . Back in 21' she was invited by Ben Sims to be a part of a special various artists EP on his iconic Symbolism label. With furthur support from industry titans such as DJ Rush and James Ruskin playing her music, Lisa has solidified her potential to become a rising star in the techno scene. After a brief hiatus to learn new skills and now fuelled by a renewed sense of passion and purpose, Lisa's offerings going forward showcase her evolution as an artist while staying true to the raw energy and infectious groove that have become her signature. Her first release back after a break was called Cymatics and hit number 13 in the Hypnotic/raw/deep charts which bodes well for an exciting rest of 2024 with many releases lined up for over the coming months.
