Joseph Abruzzi

Joseph Abruzzi born in Napoli is an Italian DJ-producer; Neapolitan-Sicilian origins and New Yorker ancestors. He begun loving music when he was a child while listening to Tchaikovsky and playing the piano. The solfeggio, studied from the age of 6, anticipated Joseph’s vocation for the rhythm of House music. At 17 he was already working in clubs and taking part in the Sorrento Coast and Neapolitan nightlife by opening some events of such big italian DJs from Angels of Love, Claudio Coccoluto, and Claudio Di Rocco. His career as a deejay has been marked by the great love for House music and by the great US artists who played in Naples in the 2000s, Frankie Knuckles , Masters at Work and more else. He also received the input of Techno Napoli, the emerging sound in the city. Then he finally opened to music production, recording and devoting himself to diverse and eclectic tracks. 2018 was a turning point for his career as a producer when Dennis Ferrer played some demos from him around the globe and then signed on recognizable underground labels such as Cj Jeff’s Rhythmetic, Ronnie Spiteri's Kenja Records receiving support from many big names including Toolroom boss Mark Knight. 2022 sees the start of his own label project, Density, with new releases coming in the next future.
