Fabio Rodry

Fabio Rodry is a young DJ born in Lisbon in November 1988, who brings some musical baggage from the 90s. His musical taste for electronic music was born from listening to radio programs such as 'Rotations' by DJ Vibe on Antena#3 radio. He grew up in the art scene and has his older brother Johnny Rodry as his main reference, where he was lucky enough to learn how to mix on vinyl and absorb a lot of musical culture, based on some reference artists such as Roger Sanchez, Masters At Work, Danny Tenaglia, Jeff Mills, Carl Cox, Carl Craig and Erick Morillo, among others. In 2005, he had the opportunity to play in one of Lisbon's top bars, Acapela, and since then his musical journey has never stopped, passing through some of the top clubs on the south bank of the Tagus. Dunas, Mastrobar, Remédio Santo Klub, Must, Roots - just some of the clubs he's been to. Although his music oscillates between Deep House and Techno, he manages to make it heard and felt in a contagious way on dance floors. Years later, he began to make strides in music production and has already been signed to some labels, such as Fardown Records, CrackHouse Recordings and Soundgroove Records. His first single was called "I Wish Follow Your Dreams" and was released in 2015 by Urecords. Since then, he's had a few more releases, such as "Music Sounds Better With You" in 2016, which topped the Traxsource charts, as well as his remix of Southboys' "Organik", featuring the unmistakable voice of Dilek Taskin, released in 2021. He has already taken part in events organized by MTV Portugal, including DJTV, a DJs in revelation programme in 2015. His playlists have been heard on radio programs such as "Last Night Dj Save My Life" on Oxigénio radio. He has even been nominated by Club DJ Portugal as DJ of the Week and has taken part in a number of DJ Contests, including some remixes that made it into the Top 30 of national production. Nowadays, he dedicates himself more to DJing and productions where we can expect a timeless journey through electronic music.
