BK YATRA

Genre - Afro/Afro Tech/Melodic/Organic 2011 is the golden year of BK YATRA. Because he first picked up a musical instrument that year. That is the guitar. At first, music was made only with the guitar. He started DJing at the same time. BK was especially fond of African reggae music, and the music he released during this period was influenced by the African reggae style. It was during this period that he started doing music production in different ways. Around 2016, he struggled to end the dark era that arose in the economic and family background, but he had to work hard until around 2020 to stay away from the problems. After working in several music bands, he started his own music band called YATRA on March 30, 2019. At the same time, he continued his DJ/producer work under the name DJ YATRA and spent time gathering knowledge. He will leave his own band in 2021 for future work. Accordingly, through hard work and dedication, he returns to the arena under the name of BK YATRA and signs his first contract with AREY Music Label. He has his own style of music that is a blend of Afro-house, Organic, melodic and tribal, and he currently maintains his own podcast series. It is "Chronicles of BK." In addition, he worked as a resident artist 2022 to 2025 (3 Years) at "Hiking Bar and Restaurant" in Ella, And now he showing his skills in World famous Cafe chill in Ella, a mountain tourist area in Sri Lanka, Furthermore, he is currently signed to Electric Eden Records, Velvet Earth Records, Tibatania Records, Shango Records, Future Evenue, Cafe de Anatolia and Jandro Records in addition to Arey Label and is releasing his own originals. He likes to live with freedom and mental happiness, and he is slowly moving into the music industry. He always loves to play in Ella, where he gets to express his musical taste to the lovely people who come to Sri Lanka from all over the world to share ideas with him.
