Uprise
A musical project birthed in 2002 by Paul Knight, aka UPRISE, began by writing tracks with on early versions of beat making software and instruments. Later he moved into hardware synths and live instruments for the main bulk of sound design. Imagine Bass music made with bass guitar and drum beats made with live drums! UPRISE has toured the United States, playing clubs and festivals from coast to coast. Playing alongside many well respected artists including Flying Lotus, Rusko, Big Gigantic, Benga and many more. Paul has also toured with the live electronic band Elemental Harmonics as bassist and synth player.
