Ralph Laurenn

Born in Beirut, raised between Berlin and Minneapolis, Dory Kahalé has moved through the underground under a rotating set of names since 1992, among them DJ Apollo, Dirty McKenzie, and Ralph Laurenn. Ralph Laurenn began as a secret alias, kept for raw Chicago ghetto house cut on cheap gear and mastered to cassette. It was the one that made rooms go off. That's the name he's releasing under now: stripped-back techno and house, carried by three decades on the dance floor.
