Lugz is a Brazilian-born, Florida-based DJ and producer crafting deep, percussive dance music. With an emotional core inspired by indie and alternative music, he blends samba and Brazilian funk swing with assertive low-end and immersive atmosphere, creating records that feel personal, opinionated, and distinctly his. Despite having over 200,000 streams, a recent shift into a more hypnotic direction allows Lugz to build tracks that sit in the pocket: trance-inducing rhythms, tight percussion, and off-kilter details that give the dance floor life. His sound moves through Tech House, Indie Dance, and Deep House without being tied to any single genre, always guided by feeling and storytelling. As a DJ, Lugz is known for high-impact sets that shape energy through texture and momentum. He has performed in support of major Brazilian acts including Alok, Dubdogz, and Cat Dealers, and has played to crowds of up to 8,000. Based in Tampa (with roots across Orlando’s scene), Lugz is building a fast-growing project focused on connection, atmosphere, and impact.
