Fynn Callum

After spending time in and out of various indie bands, FynnCallum discovered deep house music and didn’t look back. His wide range of influences and his growing reputation for crate-digging and track selection led to a residency at a Northern Soul night in Nottingham, the perfect complement to his later-night house sets. After putting together a studio he began releasing his own material. The timing couldn’t have worked out better, coinciding with the beginnings of the online music revolution. Under a variety of aliases he achieved repeated top ten chart positions in several online deep house and ambient charts. After time playing acoustic and folk guitar in the USA, Fynn has returned to house music, with his style on a deep, soulful and jazzy tip. His dj sets range from the downtempo, relaxed end of the spectrum, through to edgier, broken-beat and tech-inspired sounds; not dictated by trends, classic grooves mix with the latest releases. With increasing label interest and a growing number of releases and remixes,the future looks exciting for this Edinburgh-based dj and producer.
