Born in Serbia, in the city of Novi Sad, FLEXX (Dušan Jovčić) is an upcoming and prodigious Music Producer & DJ. He has been producing music for over 10 years, and since then he has seen many successes in finding his own place in the music industry. Coming from a family where he was surrounded by great music since the day he was born, it is safe to say that it is no coincidence he committed himself to music. Being a self-taught producer and considering the minimal amount of help he got in the beginning of his career, it was a very long and bumpy road up to the point where he is now. As an already established producer with a wish to learn even more, in the year 2016, FLEXX enrolled at SAE Institute (Middlesex University London) in Belgrade, Serbia in order to further open himself to other creative people and great new ideas, where he successfully graduated, earning himself a Bachelor of Arts degree in Audio Production. His first big success was in 2016, where he collaborated with his friend Igor in a global remix contest for the Dutch superstar, DJ Hardwell’s global hit ‘Mad World’. Their remix saw huge success and they ended up in the Top 10. In 2017, he had his first big support in a radio show, this time by another Dutch superstar DJ and producer, Dannic. Shortly after the support, he collaborated with Milhøuse on a track called ‘Pushin’ On’ which was signed to Digitize Music and premiered by Nicky Romero in his radio show. In the first half of 2018, he collaborated with Max Adrian on a festival track ‘Bandit’, released on Break It Down Music, which saw a lot of supports from DJs such as Promise Land, Corey James and many more. In September 2018, he released ‘Drum Beats’ on Sativ Records which was premiered by Dannic in his radio show. Dannic already caught an eye on his talent since he first supported ‘Zuma’ in his radio show. In May 2019, Dannic signed FLEXX & VÄHN with their festival banger ‘Trompeta’ to his label Fonk Recordings which was, at the time owned by Spinnin’ Records / Warner Music. The track reached Beatport #17 in the Big Room chart and has seen amazing support so far. ‘Trompeta’ has been played by Laidback Luke on the Tomorrowland Festival Mainstage, as well as Showtek on the Mysteryland Mainstage in the Netherlands, Galoski at Color Day Festival in Albania and Tiësto at Hakkasan Las Vegas. It was also played in Spinnin’ Sessions, on one of the biggest Dutch radio stations SLAM FM, as well as by numerous superstar DJs such as Hardwell, Dannic, R3hab, Fedde Le Grand, Blasterjaxx, Afrojack, Kura, Bingo Players, Dada Life, Mike Williams, Swanky Tunes, Maurice West, Merk & Kremont, Futuristic Polar Bears and many more. In October of 2019, FLEXX signed another festival track, this time teaming up with his friend Pessto, released on Hysteria Records, another sub-label of Spinnin’ Records / Warner Music run by Bingo Players. This track saw great success in clubs as well as a lot of supports from big names such as Dannic, Teamworx, Antoine Delvig, Bingo Players, ASCO and many more. Following a break from producing his own music and doing a lot of ghost production, mixing and mastering for other artists, FLEXX focused on finding a new and fresh sound, when he released a new club banger on the Dutch label On Point Recordings in March of 2021 by the name of ‘Ride or Die’. He saw a lot of positive feedback from his fellow producers who praised his new sound and supported the track. In July of 2021, FLEXX signed another festival track on On Point Recordings called ‘Hennessy’, where he further experimented with his new sound. At the end of 2021, he teamed up with Hizone for a latin inspired bigroom banger by the name of ‘Esse Bonde’, also released on On Point Recordings. The track was supported by Dannic in his radio show and Matt Sound played it in his ZTACK Pre-Party mix. In 2023, FLEXX embarked on a new musical journey, transitioning from the groove genre to tech house. He collaborated with Dannic and Kuli on the electrifying bootleg of Jengi’s hit single ‘Bel Mercy’. This new direction allowed FLEXX to explore fresh sounds and further expand his creative boundaries. Alongside his successful music production career, FLEXX has showcased his DJ skills in numerous clubs and bars in his hometown. He captivated audiences with his energetic performances at events such as Evolution:FEST, Shuriken Mask & Bal, Fes' in Sedamdes', and Soundlovers Festival. Notably, in 2019, FLEXX had the honor of gracing the stage at EXIT Festival on the esteemed Radio AS:FM Stage, where he delivered an unforgettable performance alongside VÄHN. Furthermore, in September 2020, FLEXX shared the decks with Dannic and VÄHN at Cristal Night Club in Novi Sad, Serbia. With an unwavering passion for music, FLEXX continues to push boundaries and explore new avenues within the industry. His talent, dedication, and ever-evolving sound make him a promising figure in the world of music production and DJing.
