A Day in The Life

I am heading out now to go VOTE!!!!

I am very excited about going and casting my ballot for Obama tomorrow!! It really looks like he is going to win, but I am going to be really nervous all day tomorrow.

My mom who has voted Republican for most of her life is going to vote for Obama. She had been leaning that way for awhile, but once McCain picked Palin as his VP, I think that finalized her decision.

Two funny things related to the election happened yesterday.  First, I went shopping at Target, and I was wearing my Obama button. This man came up to me while I was picking out some deodorant and told me, "my vote is going to cancel out your vote on Tuesday". Then later I was in the riding with a friend who has an Obama bumper sticker on her car. All the sudden this guy in an SUV started honking at us and then pulled up in the lane beside us and gave us a thumbs up. As he pulled past us we noticed the Obama bumper sticker on his car too.

Such sad news. I feel so bad for his little girl.

My friend and I are working on a Harry Potter version of Family Feud for our HP group's January Party. Remember how that game had questions (like 'Name a musician who goes by one name' or 'Name a unit of currency used in a country other than the US.') where 100 people were surveyed and they put the top answers on the board, and the teams had to try to a guess the answers. We are trying to survey 100 HP fans to get our game's top answers.  We have surveyed 63 HP fans so far, but we need 37 more. If you are an Harry Potter fan could you please take a couple of minutes and reply to the survey posted below the cut (your survey will be screened to keep the answers secret).
