My name is Justin. I'm a Master of Landscape Architecture student at the Daniels' Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, at the University of Toronto. I'm interested in landscape technology and infrastructure, constructed wetlands and zonation, city-planning in response to topographical and surface capacities, landscape ecology, landscape economics, etc. etc. Landscape architecture is very close to civil engineering, though landscape architects are often the overall project managers and planners on projects that integrate the expertise of civil engineers.
The colonization of other planets and the colonization of space itself (through the construction of massive, O'Neill-type structures) is a passtime intellectual interest of mine, but I would like to see it become a part of my practice at some point (that's dreaming a lot). Let's hope the world, one day, looks back to space.
