Mental Health Commission Included in Federal Budget

Mental health organizations and advocates across the country are celebrating today, as the federal Conservative government has included $10 million over the next two years and $15 million each year after that in the federal budget. The establishment of a Mental Health Commission was one of the central recommendations of the Kirby report, the result of two years of consultations designed to develop a plan to improve mental health outcomes.
