Hi, dear ones!

It has been a long time since I offered resources to my dearest members here at cokeandmint. So, I am opening this post with loads of bases to catter to every taste. For today, three sets of bases. Harry Potter cast, actress Emma Watson, and Death Note anime. They are NINETY-ONE bases for you to edit and spread icon love all around! Isn't gorgeous? :D

Ok, so, after all the ruckus on LJ, the option to move this community to scribblit has come up.

For those not in the know, Scribblit is going to be a journaling alternative to LJ that will be completely and totally fandom friendly (Think LJ before Six Apart got a hold of it). Yes, non-fandom is welcome there too.

From what I understand, it's going to be 18+.

I think that I will keep this community open here. but I'm also going to open up a sister community, under the same name, on Scribblit.

This decision is based on personal feelings towards what's going on and my displeasure at LJ's sudden change of policy and their secrecy at implementing it.

Opinions are always welcome.

Sweeties!

It has been a lot since I posted some resources, so I decided to present you a batch of bases. These are from Christina Aguilera's awsome video "Candyman". Yay for vintage looks!

So, in protest of the recent mass deletions on LJ, this community has downgraded to a basic account.

We may upgrade back to Plus account at some point, but I'm not sure.

So, I'm pretty sure that I'm starting to see some of my bases popping up in icon posts. Great, that's what they're here for, but icon makers: THE WHOLE COMMENTING THING APPLIES TO YOU TOO!! All I really want is a "Hey, love the bases, are snagging some to make icons."

Not a hard thing to do!!

It gives me a thrill to know that people like them enough to use them. It also lets me, and other makers know, that this community is worth keeping up.

Yes, yes, things in this community have been slow. Don't worry, I'm gearing up to make some Luke/Lorelai bases, but, I've been sick and uninspired.

Okay, so, I had a thought about the request post the other day. Since I made the post, I'm the only one who gets the email alerts when some one requests.

BASE MAKERS!! If you want to start your own request post, make it and send me the link and I will post it in the user info. Let me know if there are only certain pictures/themes you'll make bases out of (Only cap Harry Potter, actors/actresses. . . that kind of thing) and I'll post that info too.
