Hello, we’re the Wanderers!

We’re a somewhat smaller system who, quite frankly, could stand to touch a little less grass. We do seasonal work in a variety of places; if we stay in one place too long something extremely bad happens to us. Semi-homeless, mostly by choice, butch (wide array of pronouns but it/he is usually best) married to @quietplaceinthestars and have a secret third thing with @asbestostrain. If we stop posting for extended periods of time chances are good we’re in the middle of nowhere without service and will likely return eventually!

We tend to be on the more private side, but if someone wishes to be known they may tag a post. Some of us have sideblogs; @fuernima and @creature-hrt!

We do a lot of various crafts and hobbies! We all tend to prefer different ways to occupy our time but do a lot of fibercrafts, various arts, worldbuilding projects, etc. If we remember to we’ll post about it occasionally. We also enjoy backpacking and hiking. Occasionally we’ll read a book or watch a show but that’s less common of an occurrence than you’d think. Parasite-lover and worshipper of the trail and the act of change.

Pinned Post it speaks fuck it. pinned post. why not.

average tumblr user do not fall for that latest 50k notes post about Comrade IT Guy who loves it when OP uses their company computer to write explicit fanfics and check their neopets dailies on the clock. that's great for them. it does not apply to you. use your phone. use your personal computer. do not use your company device for personal work & play. Tumblr Post Comrade IT Guy does not work for your company.

having read some Martha Wells interviews it does really tickle me to imagine that when Murderbot asks for a ride, ART is basically doing that thing where you decide to entertain an obvious scam artist for a bit. Like, "Well, this is most likely a corporate spy, but I guess I am spying back on corporates right now so sure LOL let's see what the humans told it to do to trick me"

And then said 'corporate spy' spends 8 straight hours curled up on a chair watching TV and ART is like, "Oh shit you're like, a real person with no agenda. Let's hang out actually"

You get a DM that just says, "Hi."

The user's blog has no profile picture. No posts.

It has one "liked" post: A big neon text link offering "FREE downloads of your FAVORITE SHOWS!!!"

Your finger hovers over the "report" button.

But then you think to yourself, "You know what? I'm bored enough for this."
