I am very happy to present new release on Disconinjaz net-label. As usually we believe in quality not quantity: from now on all releases will have lossless FLAC versions available and will pass additional analog tape saturation stage (in which i firmly believe). Previous releases will be remastered later on. Still this is a project, based on altruistic principles, thus any feedback, distribution help and artistic collaboration are always welcome. Rico Zerone is our 16-bit VGM-disco agent from Vienna, Austria. After discovering the Micromusic netlabel and other chiptune related communities, he decided to follow the evolution of electronic music. By ascending through the synthetic emanation of retro-futuristic structures like chip-funkin prototypes Spacesynth, Minneapolis Sound and Electronica throughout the 70’s and 80’s, he reconstructed a LoFi identity. Check out his previous releases on Kanalattacke and Select Start Records.



Owen Meyers is a Canadian electronic music artist living in Barcelona, Spain. During his previous years in Montreal, Canada and Boston, USA, he has been involved with the three-piece laptop ensemble hiQloKey, performing live improvised electronic music, and the COLLISION collective, an experimental art show exhibiting invented new technologies and art forms. Currently, he is an active member in both the improvisation rave group Barcelona Bakalao and the tech-house project Circuit Flow & The Bird.



Dimitry Ghost is the head of Disconinjaz label, dj, musician and promoter from Moscow, Russia. He started as a net-audio deep-tech house dj, taking part in the famous Moscow internet radio Deepmix in 2004-2005. In april 2005 Dmitry and his friends founded Chipcult, the first russian community devoted to chiptunes and micromusic – starting a modern scene in Russia and organizing parties between Saint-Petersburg and Moscow. Since that time he has played a unique mixture of danceble 8bit chiptunes, micromusic, electropop, keygen music, video game music and disco. Dmitry’s mixes became a catchy password in the world of chipstyle music for a lot of people. In 2006 he lunched Disconinjaz net-label. In 2007 he moved to Barcelona and started expanding his projects on international ground supporting the local indie electronic scene. Dmitry’s current projects include dj performances in his unique style around the city, managing the label, participation in Barcelona Bakalao improvisation rave music group and his own avantgarde-minimalist production as Lonely Night Flighter.

Amics de la pizza! Aquesta vegada ve Déu amb una pizza gegant! Dutxa’t, posa’t la millor roba i vine’t al convent, les monges ja t’esperen (-;=…

…i per a aquells intelectualos que pensen en una mica més allà de pizza amb monges aquí un resum de la cerimònia:

5 pintors interpreten varis déus coneguts de les mitologies. en conjunt creen un quadre circular, “la pizza” (Ø 144 cm). Representen 5 principis: el naixement, el creixement, el cim, la decadència i la mort. L’actitud de l’artista pot ser creativa o destructiva, pintant o sobrepintant, així establint una dinàmica interactiva, una sessió de “jazz visual”, un “action painting col·lectiu”. Deixen ser individuals, tocant una simfonia, creant un brou primordial nou. Reaccionant mútuament i impulsant un a l’altre. El resultat representa la seva comunicació, la seva acció recíproca. L’entrexocar de diferents visions, egos i forces artístiques, el joc entre harmonies i donis-harmonies, la successió d’errors i sorpreses seran els mecanismes evolutius de l’esdeveniment. La “sessió visual” serà gravat en vídeo des de vista aèria. En la inauguració es presenta la pizza i els artistes. Després haurà una sessió fusió experimental de “8-bit & ragtime” realitzat per el DJ Dimitry Ghost i els New Orleans Pussy Cats. Serà projectat el gravat de manera “time-lapse” així enllaçant el visual amb l’auditiu. Déu també va parlar sobre els últims assajos clínics en la medicina regenerativa i les cèl·lules mare. Perquè en fons la pizza és el sistema de propulsió de la Nau Espacial Mare Nostrum Navis Infinitum.

If you are in the city during Sonar time, don’t miss our proximate concert , we plan to do a live bakalao impovisation show together with the catalan star of experimental/drone music Io Casino:

Barcelona Bakalao is a multicultural improvisation rave project, started by Diego García (former vintage synthpop performer), Dimitry Ghost (8bit/electro dj from Moscow) and Owen Meyers (experimental electronica from Canada). The group serves as a platform for improvised dance music. Inspired by 90s raves, 80s acid house, 70s electronics, synthpunk, eurodance, etc. as well as absurdist ideas of dada-rave music. Artists perform on various analog synthesizers, casios and the innovative Tenori-on.

Io Casino: Like artist, since the late eighties this sound and visual creator has developed a wide range of works of artistic, visual and sound experimentation. She has released 9 official records and a number of participations on internacional compilations. All of her work is self-directed. In the last ten years she has performed and show his art in France, Poland, Germany, Hungary, Switzerland, Italy, Argentina, Portugal, India and the United States. On the last 13 years, she was produced & promoted more than 750 live show’s. She has been active in mentoring and in the Local Artists’ Network for many years, fostering and encouraging artists, presenting their work in public and creating reference and exchange models among them.

Habrá skaters, neoprogenitores, neonatos, peatones y hasta ludópatas. Los paparazzis sólo serán bienvenidos si van en pantalón corto. El encuentro es un piso en Bailen, donde las “fancy drinks” se mezclarán con todo un abanico de posibles compras, que convertirán el lugar en un zoco-bazar-edén. Y es que cuando diversos artistas-artesanos-diseñadores deciden vender sus almas y productos, el resultado puede ir desde lo sofisticado a lo divertido, de lo sexy a lo sorprendente y de lo privado a lo europeo. Así que ante tantas posibilidades, una buena decisión puede ser tocar en el tercero segunda.

There’ll be skaters, newparents, newborns, passers-by and even videogame freaks. The paparazzi are only welcome if they come in shorts. The meeting point is a flat on Bailen street, where fancy drinks will be mixed with a wide range of wicked things to buy, making the place a veritable souk-bazaar-Eden. When different artists-handicraftsmen-designers decide to sell their wares, the result can be anything from sophisticated to plain silly, from sexy to surprising, personal or worldy. So many possibilities… just make sure you press the Tercera-Segunda door.
