This is the place for all bards and bardic hopefuls to exchange lyrics, stories, techniques, ideas, jokes, or whatever tickles your fancy. Everything is welcome here, from pious religious hymns to bawdy stories (though you may want to put a warning on these) to announcing bardic events to gushing about the bardic competition you won to asking questions like, "I heard someone sing this one song that was about a moose or something. Anyone know it?"
While I expect most of the members of this community will be affiliated with the SCA, other types of bard, singers and storytellers are welcome. I would like, though, to stick to songs, stories and poems with a medieval theme. They don't have to be authentically medieval, so long as they are not obviously anachronistic.
Rules:
1) Be polite. We are all decent, civilised people here, so let's try and act like it. 2) No quiz results. At all. This means you. 3) If you want to post a picture here, please use an LJ cut. 4) Try to stay resonably on topic. 5) Mark especially bawdy material as "not work safe" and put it behind a cut, so as not to shock the unsuspecting.
