All the atmospheric sounds lend so well into the ethereal synths and the twinkling bells, and I suddenly feel as if I'm back in the old forests of my hometown, moss beneath my feet and the skittering of magical critters around every nook and stone. Sylfvr Svampprinsen delivers a tremendous album with "Höstens Vattenfall". Deep pine forest and muffled rain drops are the sole denizens of this aural landscape, although we never truly feel alone in these parts. At times, it feels like we’re under the careful scrutiny of an invisible people of old, our every steps accounted for. Enchantment abounds. Favorite track: Promenader och upptäckt.
