Smekermann After a long wait, I finally got my hands on this, Dr. Pete Larson's latest. One of the things that immediately stuck out to me was how expansive and meditative the aural landscape felt - a testament to the landscapes and atmospheres of Michigan (which, to be fair, I only experienced once - it was a hell of a formative memory, though)

Overall, an incredible mix of electronica, drone, live improv, and... I don't even know, psychedelic folk? I'm not sure I've heard anything like it before. Favorite track: A2.

Carsten Pieper Glitterbeat Records' compilations are always worth checking out. Vibrant music from the whole world, indeed. Favorite track: Širom - For You, This Eve, the Wolves Will Be Enchantingly Forsaken.
