    MMJBE thumbnail
MMJBE I remember the feeling at the age of 14, first listening to "Not fragile" of BTO. Such Heavyness, such groove, such sheer Power. No. GOZU aren`t BTO - no way to say it ist the same kind of music. But GOZU have given me the same feeling. It´s not an easy task to get an 62 yerar old man feel this GROOVE again.
Listen to the new CD "Remedy" or the prequelle "Equilibrium" and "Revival"
GOZU are .. GOZU - HIGH AND MIGHTY. If you are feeling down - their music is a game changer - Trust me on that!

Crinklechips Gozu. I was basically given their album ‘Revival’ via my Ripple subscription. Since then they have weedled their way into my brain and wont let me go.

This is their first proper release and it shows a band fully formed from the get go. To my mind they mix stoner and grunge to make a really ass kickin sound. As others have said, the vocals are really strong here and they propel really great lyrics too.

One of my fave bands these days.

The Midnight Toker. Is Klaus Meine of Scorpions fame the led vocalist ??
If not it's someone who sounds remarkably similar and its a good thing here. This absolutely rocks, perfect for the drive into work.
    𝔩𝔬𝔲𝔡-𝔮𝔲𝔦𝔢𝔱-𝔩𝔬𝔲𝔡 thumbnail
𝔩𝔬𝔲𝔡-𝔮𝔲𝔦𝔢𝔱-𝔩𝔬𝔲𝔡 𝓐 work of unremitting quality, 'Shadow Hymns' is the variety of record that provides firm affirmation of time spent in pursuit of subterrestrial hard rock treasures. The acolytes have ascended to providence, it is the listener who must now assume the mantle of worship. Favorite track: Wolf Song.
    Fernando Benítez thumbnail
Fernando Benítez metallers! your metal gods are about to expire, and i know you love huge crowds, beer and euopean festivals, dontcha? ozzy, ac/dc, etc are leaving, so i guess it's time for new stars. there's lotsa good new bands out there, performing CLASSIC heavy metal. not as grounbreaking, i know, but hey early maiden kinda aped thin lizzy and purple! I would LOVE to see Worshipper headlining Donnington 2020, dig? Trouble meets early Scorps but with modern structures! every song a (shadow) hymn.

FDJ (Desert Psychlist) The melody and songcraft of classic rock twinned with the bite of metal, a best of both worlds.

"One Way Trip" is an album that should show up on many year end lists. Be sure to buy this album and check out Worshipper when they hit the road because they are even better live if you can believe it. Favorite track: Acid Burns.
