susurss Absolutely brilliant stuff. Love the atmosphere, love the tracks, and love The Algorithm! First album I've ever bought with my own money, and I'm so excited for what will release in the future!
    Favorite track: Hollowing.
    Spirit of Infernum thumbnail
Spirit of Infernum Thanks to some retro synth textures and progressive structures, I can imagine myself being taken to retrofuturistic cyberspace. I feel like the album depicts a world in which the internet still wasn't a centralised algorithmic (heh) mess and we never stopped dreaming about the digital future. Favorite track: Advanced Evasion Technique.
    Brad thumbnail
Brad I like* how over the course of the last 15 years calling something "the algorithm" has gone from sort of nerdy twee to the most dystopian, cryptic, nihilistic, perilous, faustian-pact evil thing imaginable. Good, fun sound design getting djent adjacent to all the electro -cores, -waves and -trances.

    * like is not the right word

kangi Words are meaningless! This tunes are nuclear starfire going straight into your system to overdrive your synapses.

    Holy shit!

milky If this is your first Starjunk song, there is no shame, I was just in the same boat as you and now this is all I know.
    Yapping Frank thumbnail
Yapping Frank A Hypermodern Touring House track with a Rally Phonk edge—this thing MOVES. The sheer speed and energy make it a full-blown banger on track, balancing aggression with a clean, futuristic vibe. Love the fresh take and unique feel.

"Keep dropping these FLAC bangers—real ones hear the difference, and we got your back. No compression, no compromise—just raw, unfiltered fire, and this track is straight-up detonating!"

Summer Angine de Poitrine, brings new fun and life into prog rock in both presentation and sound. I think if you like Cassiopeia you'll like them. Alternatively if you're transgender you will probably like them as well. Favorite track: Ababa Hotel.
    sassychicken17 thumbnail
sassychicken17 This album breaks my brain in the best of ways. From the innovative microtonal sounds to the time signature shifts, my mind and body are fully engaged with every track. Bandcamp has the audacity to force me to choose exactly one favorite song, but they are all great tracks! Favorite track: Ababa Hotel.

PsychedeLee My synthwave collection has been growing rapidly, and as I scroll through the list, this release's objective quality and subjective power - especially Under Control - stuns me with a firmly warranted metaphorical bitch slap. Favorite track: Under Control (feat. Tommy Reeve).
    tarrabyte thumbnail
tarrabyte One of my absolute favorites from him Favorite track: Under Control (feat. Tommy Reeve).

Loren Knack I'm under the City Hunter's control. "Under Control" will be played loudly throughout 2015. Favorite track: Under Control (feat. Tommy Reeve).

    Josh Silverman thumbnail
Josh Silverman I don't speak German, as my college German professor will attest. But it doesn't matter - the pure emotion conveyed through the music and singing are enough to grab you and take you with them. These are universal truths THE is conveying on this album. FFO: The Ocean, The Mars Volta, Protest the Hero Favorite track: Das Nachsehen.
    David Fischer thumbnail
Vielseitig, wahnsinnig, fantastisch! Favorite track: Der Doppelgänger.
    needthemusic thumbnail
needthemusic The Hirsch Effekt wissen einfach was sie tun. Textlich und musikalisch halt das absolute Gegenteil zur Mainstream Musik.
Keine Musik die einfach wegkonsumiert werden kann.
Hierfür muss man sich Zeit nehmen und offen sein Favorite track: Die Brücke.

Eralp Already ten years filled to the brim with CP for me, thanks to MD; 'and he absolutely will not stop... ever'. Favorite track: Streetlight Desire.
    MattATx•°• thumbnail
MattATx•°• Mega Drive consistently drops banger albums, but I think Machine has to be his best yet. On first listen, I probably played it 5 or 6 times on repeat. It flows perfectly from one track to the next, thematically consistent and never a dull moment. Beautifully melodic, harsh, nasty, heavy, pummelling. Really a perfect album imo. Very well done. Favorite track: Camouflage Tears.
