Christoph Wagner Comfy music. Many years after I saw him first, the little Goblin is still around and still genre jumping, and made this ambient-synthwave-synthpop thing with some autotune applied. Favorite track: Ghosts of Europa.

hexalite80 Absolutely brilliant, well worth the wait. I cant stop listening to Violent Silence and Tundra, Heart of Hell

The whole album brings me back to The Smell of Rain.

MrFreakins I got my cassette a bit early, and I've been enjoying this one. Great album with lots of variety.

You get touches of every era of Mortiis, and yet it still feels like a cohesive whole.
Moments of simple old-school synth suddenly give way to sweeping powerful sounds. Some songs meander around in unexpected directions, others had me closing my eyes and bobbing my head, lost in the tunes.

It really feels like a microcosm of Mortiis' whole 30+ years of music, in the best possible way.

trgower I've been a Mortiis fan since the Era 1 days and have followed his works over the years. Although I love his Dungeon Synth stuff, this is easily my favourite album from him. Atmospheric yet really catchy at the same time. Ghosts of Europa is a new sound for Mortiis, but there are certainly elements of everything from his back catalogue in this. Favorite track: Transcending Morpheus.
    David TRIMBOUR thumbnail

fyeahmetal This band is amazing! For having only 3 elements - drums, bass, vocals, the music has a ton of variety yet cohesion. It's half metal (think Om, but more aggressive) and half rock (catchy motifs and songs). The smooth but powerful vocals really put things over the top. Every song is unique and memorable, and the record rewards repeat listens. Favorite track: The Darkness.

Nenad J. I absolutely love how vast the sound of YOTC is and how deep it cuts. One of my most played albums of 2025. Favorite track: The Darkness.
    Colin M. thumbnail
Colin M. YotC have never released a bad album, and with the incredible self titled they are not starting now. Time will tell if it is recency bias or not but I’m currently of the impression this is their best work. Incredible album! Favorite track: Alone.
