  1. Lord Of Lavender

reasonablesteve It is frustratingly rare that an artist is able to manage both "dungeon" and "synth," typically concentrating on one element to the detriment of the other. Not so here. The entire album masterfully dances across the line, and even strays into other genres without betraying its themes. In short: it kicks ass. Favorite track: Resurrection Of The Profaned Lord.
    Kelvurus thumbnail
Kelvurus This is truly the most unique, polished and artistic piece of work I've heard in a long while. Some emotions were captured beautifully with the use of instruments I have yet to hear in this genre, and I struggle think of ways to capture such specific emotions without them.

I have become fully engrossed in the tale of the Lord of Lavender as well as Reikard. What a tense, dreadful feeling to be in Reikard's place. The music accompanies these feelings so very well. Favorite track: And Let This Day Be Cursed By The Last Light Of Heaven.
    rose_fairy thumbnail
rose_fairy Such a beautifully done album, each track goes perfectly with the story which had my attention the whole time. Can not wait to see what is next for the Lord of Lavender. Favorite track: Beast Of The Night.

Emery / GRAPEYGUTS Had me going "Whoa, what?!" out loud, just an insane ride 🔥 Favorite track: Vibrations At The Black Ether's Edge.
    Filipe Machado thumbnail
Filipe Machado Pure mystical and horror immersion. Every track on 'Sciomancy' feels like a portal to a darker and primordial age. Gloomful continues to be one of the most interesting projects in the scene right now. Highly recommended!
    saltasoles thumbnail
saltasoles The way this record explores sound design is uniquely eldritch and otherworldly. The stereo image is used in a creative way, while glitches and heavy distortion turn noise into a musically unsettling voice that creeps from the high harmonics. On the other hand, the low end stays rooted in a clearly Dungeon Synth influence. Top notch sound design here. Favorite track: Vibrations At The Black Ether's Edge.

    A3XN 8.0/10
Music that transports us to relaxing landscapes where soft dances are performed in nature or adventures through fantasy places seen from a crystal ball.

Magical "Dungeon Synth" with relaxing and sometimes epic ideas:
Instrumental tracks with musical compositions made with love and passion... Offered to the times of old :-)

The length time of the album is acceptable, the cover image has decent illustrations but with interesting details.

Overall a good album :-) Favorite track: Stars' Reflection on the Lake.
    Tampertronics thumbnail
Tampertronics Musically accomplished dungeon synth with impeccable vibes and a great concept. Alces Noctis really knows what they're doing musically, and effortlessly conjures an atmosphere of wintry ambivalence like the best dungeon/comfy/winter synth. Favorite track: Stars' Reflection on the Lake.

    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: The winged people drag the sky to the earth.

Kevin-Secret Collector I love this album, can't get enough of it Favorite track: The winged people drag the sky to the earth.
    jarldjevel thumbnail
jarldjevel As already mentioned, this is Gnoll 2.0, enhanced by cinematic vibes. Essential to your collection. Favorite track: Die by the sword of the monks.
