immaterium This album is the epitome of Budrum's vision, dedication, good taste and talent. Despite many of the tracks being repetitive, they also grow at the same time, leaving the listener transfixed. Don't miss out on this high quality DS.

    Obsidian One thumbnail
Obsidian One The opening of 'Age of Chains' is a breath of fresh air in black metal — atmospheric, melodic, epic. The music has a different feel than most in the genre: less dark and more fantasy, though still intense at times with icy guitar riffs and cold blast beats. I like the bright-colored cover art, with no logo or text, and the title of the fifth track, 'Behold the Shadow of My Thoughts', is great as well. Favorite track: Age of Chains.
    Jana thumbnail
Jana Welcome to the magic world of J.R.R. Tolkien, I mean its darker side, of course 😉 This album promises an intense experience to look forward to by all lovers of epic black metal and strong storytelling. I'd like to highlight its excellent production and memorable riffs, as well as collaboration with names as Hulder and Lamp of Murmuur. And yes, it's possible to make lead synth that doesn't sound cheesy 😁 Favorite track: Behold the Shadow of My Thoughts.
    Sid thumbnail
Sid A refreshing surprise. This album has the ferocity that black metal is known for, but has a little bit of the melodic and dungeon synth aspect of it sprinkled in as well. Musically, this album reminds me of Hrad, Caladan Brood, and Stormruler.

The Tolkien lyrical themes are also really neat. Favorite track: Of Desperate Valor.

ehSteve If Tolkien had created a soundtrack for The Hobbit, I imagine it would have sounded like this.
    Septembre thumbnail
Septembre This is so sweet and charming. The imagery brought to mind was filled with peace - sitting around a meal blissfully with friends and loved ones, laughing and relaxing the day away. There are parts that are mischievous and cute, and other parts that are sentimental and pensive. What a dream it is to be a little hobbit. Favorite track: A Well-Tended Front Yard Is Of Utmost Importance For Us Shire Dwellers.

!!! Amazing work, honestly. I had to buy full Glaring Spires discography, I had no option. Please bring to live soon, physical artifacts. Favorite track: A Visit from Mithrandir.
