Trillis Schlafly I am kicking myself for being so late to this band. I found out about them from their HIRS collaboration and went straight to this album, oh my godddd it is incredible. My turntable stays at 45RPM because I keep putting this one back on. Keep pushing yall. Favorite track: TUNE IN.

mb Im gonna need a bigger knife Favorite track: CUT OUT.
    Benjamin Caragol thumbnail
Benjamin Caragol This album is fantastic. I was heart broken when Majority Rule broke up, so to hear these folks in an excellent new band with a different twist 15-20 years later... well it's heartwarming despite how pissed off the music is. Favorite track: CUT OUT.

zierra_ Brutal and emotional, it was very difficult to pick just one track as my favourite, but Glitter and Spit just about takes it. The vocals make me want to scream my lungs out and the instrumentals provide the perfect backdrop for them. From the river to the sea. Favorite track: Glitter and Spit.
    pinkytheent thumbnail
pinkytheent I finally got on the No Man bandwagon! Hey neighbors and hell yeah to DC heavy music! An absolute barnburner of torching intense rhythms, incendiary melodies, gut-wrenching vocals with equally gut-wrenching lyrical intensity, and overall a dynamic range of hardcore music which knows to deliver the goods and call it quits. Throughout, a really engaging melodic variety to my ears: all hardcore, but some more teeth-kicking and others more mournful and churning. I’ll see you at a show soon! Favorite track: God's Neighborhood.
    Adam Andrade thumbnail
Adam Andrade Glitter and Spit is the album you listen to when you go to fight a brick wall. A wicked hardcore record indeed. Favorite track: Can't Kill Us All.

Murphrygian It drives me insane that I didn't listen to Unsane in the 90s. WTF was I thinking? This shit reeks like the best 90s hardcore, and I love it!

    Grimmrobe Face-fucking noise metal.

Unsane for life. Favorite track: Committed (2026 Remaster).

bmurator US Progressive / Post-Black Metal. Take Dream Theater & crank it up to 11, add wonderful BM in the mix as well as a fantastic vocalist (unlike DT!) & you don't even begin to scratch the surface of how good this is... :) Melodies & riffs & outbursts of sheer skill simply everywhere! No faves yet & likely ever! Highly recommended!!!
    klamath100 thumbnail
klamath100 Opens with a Voivod / Rush bassline, proceeds with Horrendous trademark unhinged vocals and glorious twin guitars. Two Candles is probably the whackiest track I have heard in a long time - Horrendous death metal meets The Black Parade rock opera. AOTY contender! Favorite track: Two Candles.
    eManRenaissanc thumbnail
eManRenaissanc Their first album was great, but this one tops it by a lot. It's super heavy and absolutely glorious, eclectic, and awe-inspiring. A pleasant surprise, and one of my faves of the year so far! Favorite track: Two Candles.

    Logen Ninefingers thumbnail
Logen Ninefingers Somewhat unheralded, no band on Earth sounds like Fasto Jetson; despite Josh Homme’s best intentions/ A-list access to export this brand of quirkiness to the masses via QOTSA. ‘Let’s Clone’ is resplendent in its sci-fi surf weirdness & is also strangely infectious with its b-movie keys and chorus, ‘Vatos..' would be a dirge in lesser hands, yet FJ lend it an odd poppy angle. ‘The Untimely Death..' is a whirlwinding cacophony with brilliant riffs. Totally unique, Homme would love to be this cool Favorite track: Let's Clone.

    Dumb mmmn thumbnail
Dumb mmmn elves are portrayed as thin, nimble creatures who seem quick and agile - you wouldn't normally see one barreling through the forest primarily using his/her fists as weapons; why is that? what would an elvish aberration look like?
    klBlk thumbnail
klBlk Captivating is the first word I think of in regards to this. It's simply interesting to listen to. The riffs are tasty; the true testament to this masterpiece is the god tier level of arranging. It's an insanely good, organic, fun, and thoughtfully put together album. 5/5 fuck yeas
