R Unique, dark, spacey death metal that combines the best of the modern approach with what came before. This sounds like the film Alien looks. Phil Tougas’s leads are darkly melodic, compositional in nature, and absolutely killer. Highly recommended!
    warchrist30 thumbnail
warchrist30 Will admit found the dissonance initially off putting, but by the end of the first song caught the groove and loved every second! It's almost like a lost Pestilence album. Full on reccommend! Favorite track: Extradimensional Entity.

nick elliott I'm fashionably late to finding this but good lord this thing goes hard. This is a worthy 666th bandcamp purchase indeed. Favorite track: Umbral Altar.

David Metting If Cthulu cultists played death metal to summon their master, it would sound like this. I especially love the guitar leads and the overall groove.
    Ghuughra thumbnail
Ghuughra Came here to call out the Timeghoul-isms, looks like Camel beat me to it. Fantastic release, leave of the wet, dribbly intro noises and I'd call it a 10/10. Favorite track: Vecoiitn'aphnaat'smaala.
    YomaBarr thumbnail
YomaBarr OK, I know I'm seriously missing in the 2016 department, still I have no excuse. This is genre and life changing.
    "Cthulhu on vocals". How true.

    Stephen Huerta thumbnail
Stephen Huerta Wow!, this is amazing, Vinnum Sabbathi have definitely outdone themselves. I can’t wait to see them perform these tracks live. This is one band I am truly proud of. I’ve met them personally in Mexico City, and consider them “mi hermanos”. Favorite track?, no!, the whole EP is my favorite, “good job you guys”. Good luck on your upcoming European tour, hopefully Guadalajara will be next, a four hour bus trip for me, I’ll be there.

bmurator I will not say my usual of who & what they are - everybody knows Mgla! I should have bought this years ago but I missed it because - yes... I really am that useless :| This is a totally epic & classic album that I cannot get enough of & has very few equals, except maybe their previous! Mgla are in a class of their own & they demonstrate this here once again in each & every song! Highly recommended!!!

sashavonkarl74 Ukraine 1914 and Noise's Kanonenfieber are quite similar to me, in many aspects, the war-related topics, the orange color in the cover art (just kidding), the overall atmospehere, and some German lyrics as well. 1914 is more varied, this album is a masterful blend of BM, doom and the intro/outros are an essential part of the whole album, setting the tone, and this 1914 album is just as good as "The Blind..." IMHO. Favorite track: ...And a Cross Now Marks His Place (ft. Nick Holmes).
    KolFoxy thumbnail
KolFoxy Album is very close to perfect.

    Man I hate war.
    Favorite track: FN .380 ACP#19074.
    Abyssius Murkraken thumbnail
Abyssius Murkraken Brutal and intelligently written. This is an awesome black metal album based in historical themes. The whole album paints a war torn picture that leaves you yearning for more music as passionately made as this. Highly recommended for black metal fans. Favorite track: FN .380 ACP#19074.

Darknight Awesome debut album from Suneater, love the killer sludge driven guitar sounds. Every riff just kick's ass and there is great inventive song craft. Absence is definitely proper heavy, if you like post metal or sludge metal then Suneater is a must. Favorite track: Drained.
