Sam A meaningful black metal tribute to the ocean shore. I always love when black metal bands use violin and this album was literally made by a fiddle player! Favorite track: A Dream of Oaks.
    AwkwardComma thumbnail
AwkwardComma This album is ridiculously good. Perfect amount of heaviness and atmosphere, great melding of disparate sounds, my god the violin. So much to love. Favorite track: A Dream of Oaks.
    Dumb mmmn thumbnail
Dumb mmmn I looked at this album a few minutes ago.. and there was one vinyl left. Now, it's gone.. I blame Classy Lonnie Metal's 'Top 25 Of 2025' which just came out

    kalmbrewtality thumbnail
kalmbrewtality there are sections in Endurance where Brendan's voice sounds like Michael Akerfeldt holy crap it's insane Favorite track: gossamer pall.
    Avery thumbnail
Avery Just an unreal amount of talent and depth on display here. Every song is superbly resonant, intricate, and atmospheric. The title track is so moving and beautiful to me, and manages to also be heavy as hell; one of my favorite songs of all time. Favorite track: endurance.

Rami This album is very special to someone, s/o to that beautiful person
    Gunnison6610 thumbnail
Gunnison6610 Growing up in the countryside really sounded like this. You cannot trust even the wind blowing through grass. This album captures that sound and feeling so perfectly it makes it even more unnerving than it is already. This album is beyond special to me for that Favorite track: Dark Cloud Lightning.
    th🕳️mishaka thumbnail
th🕳️mishaka wow, the otherworldly sound really suits country setting 🙃 you get associations with flying saucers over green hills silently observing the course of life in the countryside

and it is the countryside itself which is presented here as some bizarre and inexplicable object of observation, rather than a UFO) nice perceptual twist
