  1. Live on Earth
    by Sergeant Thunderhoof
    supported by
    Alrihkh thumbnail
Alrihkh A great live capture of a band that exemplifies the best of stoner, doom, and psychedelic rock in the current age: all in one package. Picking a favourite song is hard because each song succeeds in nominating itself. I lean toward Enter the Zigurat, though. The production and mix are studio quality. Very clear & balanced. The band sound great live, too. Long jams to get lost in; great guitar, great vocals. Each instrument complements the others. No overshadowing. Thanks, ST! 8.5+/10. Favorite track: Enter The Zigurat (live).
    mannes66 thumbnail
mannes66 I have taken a lot of time to write my comments to ST. In 1980 my first live concert was Van Halen (Rip Eddie) with Lucifer Friends. From then I jumped between Hardrock and Progrock. My favorite Band was Marillion, but only till Fish has left. First Song I heard from Live on Earth was Goat Mushroom and I was totally flashed. Holly shit, this sound I was searching for so long. Thanks a lot to Bandcamp. Favorite track: Goat Mushroom (live).
    Colin M. thumbnail
Colin M. I have the rest of the 'hoof's discography on vinyl... it would seem a tragedy to break that streak now. I'm really digging the remaster as well. Favorite track: Goat Mushroom (live).

    caseyband thumbnail
caseyband Wow! Like a slower, dirtier, heavier version of Valiant Thorr... but fantastically unique in their own right. Enjoy! Favorite track: Reptilian Woman.

    siphr0dias "Enter the zigurat"
I can't describe even remotely accurate, how it makes me feel. Melancholy and love for everything and nothing all at the same time.
Goosebumps and tears are a common occurence during this song. Everything else looses meaning, when i listen to that song.
The album in general is an awesome piece of art. Thank you. Favorite track: Enter The Zigurat.
    rook96 thumbnail
rook96 I think Sergeant Thunderhoof can be best summed up by the transition from tracks 5 and 6. Whether a hard track or a soft transition, Sergeant Thunderhoof always take me on a journey that I love. Thanks very much. Favorite track: Enter The Zigurat.

    Harry Harrison thumbnail
Harry Harrison Nothing has changed. I love SGT TH for all the reasons previously mentioned. This album just gets better the further you get through it. The other reviews are right. Although not their best effort, they're still growing as a band and the tunes are still so good. That good that I've brought the vinyl even after I owned the digital. Favorite track: After Burner.
    rook96 thumbnail
rook96 Classic and essential listening for fans of Thunderhoof, in particular Lunar Worship shows why there is no one else like the Hoof. Thanks very much. Favorite track: Lunar Worship.
    Crinklechips thumbnail
Crinklechips Great first album from a band that get better and better. Favorite track: Om Asato Ma Sadgamaya.

scott1971 Damn good. Sound is amazing. Recorded and mixed just right. Favorite track: You've Stolen The Words (Live).
    crabsomatic thumbnail
crabsomatic Great work boys, as usual. Killer sound, delivery and production. Very Thunderhoofian. 10/10. Favorite track: Diesel Breath (Live).
    Michael Reilly thumbnail
Michael Reilly A strong live set that is a welcome addition to my collection; plenty of meaty moments with the Hoof's forceful brand of guitar rock, which rarely disappoints. Supported this project via the band's Kickstarter to fund their Las Vegas trip – hope that adventure leads to other opportunities for them. Favorite track: Avon & Avalon, Pt. 2 (Live).

    Bertrand Marchal thumbnail
Bertrand Marchal I discovered this band by chance with this album. I've been at once captivated by the smooth power of their doom, epic and lyrical, led by a beautiful melodic voice. If any traces of it remain here and there, the acrid greasy aftertaste of stoner rock has been seriously diluted compared to their previous releases, to my great satisfaction.
    end.of.my.daze thumbnail
end.of.my.daze A little less meandering and whimsical than their last, but well made up for with aggressive and focused songwriting! Favorite track: Blood Moon.
    Ken Hagdal thumbnail
Ken Hagdal Atmospheric stoner/doom. If you don't find it absolutely fantastic, I have a box of Q-tips for you. Favorite track: Blood Moon.
