manlietto This record opened the doors to DS for me. Favorite track: Farewell To Gaste Forest.
    shyaminator thumbnail
shyaminator My first exposure to "real" dungeon synth (even though I've been an avid fan of Summoning for years). It opened my eyes to, what I consider to be, the best type of music there is for studying. Fantastic. Favorite track: Tintagel's Brume.
    simbelmyne thumbnail
simbelmyne Great album, and band was super cool and sent an awesome poster and other goodies. I'm so happy they got a much deserved spot at the dungeon synth fest west. Hope you make it out east, too. =)
    Jason Shook thumbnail
Jason Shook A landmark album for the fantasy genre. Malfet secures his position as a master at creating magical, medieval dungeon synth. At times bringing an adventurous sense of urgency and at others, calm and relaxing as if you'd just wandered into a forest meadow. This is a journey album of the highest caliber and a mandatory addition to any fantasy enthusiast's collection! Favorite track: Tintagel's Brume.

bmurator Australian Black / Doom Metal. A one man, E.S. or Chris Gebauer, project. When you need to dig deep into your soul & let those feelings of anxiety & sadness & despair out for a while - this helps... :) To cathartically expell those demons within, at least for the duration of the track... :) I am really looking forward to the rest of the album with great impatience & restlessness (what else?)! Highly recommended!!!

Sightless_Wisdom Be prepared to either die or go to jail because you will piss off your neighbors so much with how loud and powerful this music is that you will either fight to the death or kill your opponent and rot for the remainder of your days in prison. So basically the music will achieve its goal of laying waste to everyone and everything that hears it. Favorite track: Invoke War (feat. Machine Head).
    justintylerhughes thumbnail
justintylerhughes Savage heavy grooves Favorite track: Absolute Zero.
    positronicping thumbnail
positronicping Frozen Soul move ever closer to the Platonic ideal of death metal on this album. It's all timeless stuff, teeming with infectious riffs and pulverising grooves, as well as some appropriately icy atmospherics here and there. It might be meat and potatoes, but it's cooked by Michelin star chefs. Favorite track: Ethereal Dreams.

Hayden Uhler I really like this album. It's surprisingly catchy for death metal and they are awesome live. Also the cover art makes for a great Magic: the Gathering playmat. Favorite track: Frozen Soul (feat. GosT).

Bart One of my favorite grindcore bands in the last few years (both on albums and live). This new album ticks all the boxes. They still comfortably sit in the grindcore chaos while bringing in groove, death metal riffs and the occasional hardcore breakdowns. The frenetic energy of Gobi's guest vocals "Abolition" is another highlight. Top notch album, and I can't wait to see them again. Favorite track: Abolition.
