Jonas Materna Something about David Lovejoy playing atmospheric black metal just works for me in ways very few other musicians manage to. The music manages to make me relax and maybe dream a little while beautiful soundscapes or guitar solos wash over me.
Anyway, I Picked up the CD as soon as it was possible to put next to all my Sorrow Plagues CDs and I can wholeheartedly recommend it for all atmospheric black metal fans to do the same. Favorite track: Shadow.

.-. --- -... . .-. It's been years since David Lovejoy decided to bury his Sorrow Plagues project, leaving behind several cult LPs.
His fans can only be happy with his return and his new project Corroding Soul, a spectacular mix of Atmospheric Black Metal, Post or Blackgaze with a certain aroma of Sorrow Plagues but more modern, complex and ambitious.
    A real gem.

Vitalixy This entire album is a journey from beginning to end, every track a powerful story. But amongst all of them, no song even comes close to how powerful and emotional Épreuve is. Few other artists have managed to achieve this effect for me. For a song to speak to you more clearly than words can ever achieve. Truly one of the heaviest and most epic albums out there. Favorite track: Épreuve.

vanechka ngl the best thing that happened to metal since maybe bronze age. one of my fav-ever records Favorite track: Faux-Amis.
    Frank Hardlic thumbnail
Frank Hardlic My first encounter with Mirar was Nik Nocturnal's YT channel.... The heaviest thing he ever heard.... Me too. This hybrid of classical rondo with the heaviest distortion djent/thall guitar sound plus the hybrid of dubstep- trap and death metal percussion is unique and masterful... and incredibly entertaining and awe inspiring Favorite track: Charnier.

bmurator Australian Depressive Black / Gothic Metal. This is far from conventional DSBM imho! These guys explore the interface where depressive emotions actually lead to anger & ferocity with the outside world rather than the usual "S" in DSBM. I love the ideas behind the concepts these guys explore & having some lyrics would really add to my overall understanding... :) Highly recommended!!!

Edit: Thank you very much for the lyrics... :)

YomaBarr How they learned to stop being depressed and love the netherside. This left me acid blisters on my soul. Lyrics, please.
