Need a New Offense

After watching the game on Saturday the main thing that needs to be done in the off season besides resiging Adalus Thomas is implmenting a new offense that is as agressive as the defense.  No more of this dink & dunk ball control play not to lose offense.  We need a more explosive back who can be a threat both running and catching the ball A.K.A. a Marshal Fulk type.  Keep Jamal Lewis as our short yardage back like the Steelers used Jerome Bettis a few years ago.  Turn the recievers lose be agressive.  As for the offensive line it is time to get MOBILE, HOSTILE, AGILE more pulling of the gards, screens, sweeps.  Help get the backs out in space and more one on one match ups.  Also if another reciever on third down and 5 runs a 3 yard route after the game he run the uperdeck till the next sunrise.  At the least on a third down and 5 run an 8-10 yard route that a way you have a cpl of yards to play with and still make the first down.  If I was the owner and GM these are the changes I would be looking to make.  Other than that it was a good bounce back year and for once the team exceeded most peoples expatations, now we need to make a few adjustmensts so the next time we hold Payton Manning to 5 feild goals we WIN!!!!!

bart scott had the #1 hit on "jacked up" tonight. this has to be the 3rd of 4th time a raven has been featured. I officially nominate the ravens as the hardest hitting defense in all of football

Big Win Against Some Sore Losers...

The Ravens jumped out to a 17-0 lead and never looked back today. This win gives the Ravens a 2 game lead in the division.

here's a quote from T.J. Houshmandzadeh that I'm sure you'll all get a kick out of... "We're just a better team than they are. We didn't win the game and I'm sure they'll get a laugh over that," he said. "But deep down, we know we're better than Baltimore and they know it. We've got better players than they do."

time to attempt being more active...

It was great to see them finally open the offense up a lil. Great balance of hard nosed running and actually throwing the ball more than 4-7 yards down field. It was also awesome to see them actually be unpredictable and vary personal packages and formations.

I have to agree with Ray on this one... the game ball definitely goes to "offensive coordinator" Brian Billick

Ummmm... Anyone here?

Hey, I just wanted to know why this community isn't active... pretty much at all.

Right now I'm in Korea (not by choice btw,) so that makes following the Ravens kind of difficult... Could at least one of you post here a little more often? If you want a good idea of what I'm looking for, look at washingtoncaps, they do a really good job of keeping me updated.

Thank you guys.
