Ayumi Hamasaki Icon Challenge

Alright. It's been a whole summer and this community is inactive and.. I'm not sure what to do.

At the moment, I am extremely busy with university and various activities. I believe my co-mod is also quite busy, but I'm not even sure because I don't have time to keep up with my friends list, let alone my communities.

I don't want this community to die! It was the first Ayu icontest and I want it to stay around and thrive.

I can't do a poll so I'm just going to ask for responses in comments. The options are

A) Get new mods and banner makers to run the community.
B) Put the community on indefinate hiatus.
C) Close the community and let some of the wonderful active communities continue.

Obviously, I would prefer the first. If anyone votes for that, please let me know if you would be willing to do either (create challenges, make banners, or both).

Remember the Fairyland PV? How it's all fun and summery?

Well, that's what this header challenge is all about! I challenge you (Pikachu) to make a Fun Summery Header at standard header size (so at least 600x400, I'd say) using images of Ayu that already have a summer theme. (If the image is bright, has Ayu in a swimsuit or in a beach, that's a clue to how to have a happy summer!) Behind the cut are 18 pictures to get you started, but you don't have to use just these: any "summery" pictures are fine.

I would also recommend Ayu's calenders, they usually have some summery pictures. Especially 05' and 06'. And the recent Sweet magazine shoot. And the On My Way photobook.

I'm back! I was in the hospital for a while, and I've basically just caught up with my schoolwork and recuperated.. haha. Anyhow, what is more fun than challenges in the summer? Nothing!! So I hope to see lots of entries :)

There will also be another challenge up in a few minutes for those of you who want to compete in something other than icons..

For this challenge, you can submit up to 2 icons, only using these pictures, any text, textures, brushes, effects, etc. Have fun!!
