genuinly tho i love to think about the human mannerisms rocky must have picked up while alone with grace for years. do you think he returned with an accent? completely different body language? sayings and idioms that make no sense when translated? it's so dear to me.

theres so many good ways for these guys to meet, I would like to propose whatever the hell this is:

Simon only properly "wakes up" after a few weeks - or even months - after being rescued due to his brain genuinely not being able to handle the horrors and temporarily shutting down. Now has to navigate the sudden bizarre situation change

like one second he's in absolute agony, drowning in blood, receiving psychic attacks and suffering from everything ever, but then he blinks and the next thing he knows he's healed from most immediate damage, sitting on a nice bed, wearing comfy clothes, and there's some weird science guy tying his hair up to get it out of the way so he can see his neck mutations better and softly talking to him like they've been having an ongoing conversation
