Over The Line

We won't get to this story arc for at least two or three more novels, but the characters involved are so fun to play with that I couldn't resist. So, you get a sneak peek:

I come bearing a short story from Al and myself - woohoo! For now, it's only available here on LJ ... once all of Possible Outcome is edited and available on the website, it'll go up there, as well. But for now, I'll leave it here as a present for those of you who've already read the rough draft of Book One.

For those of you who haven't? You can read it, too, of course. It's set in between the first two books, but we managed to not make it too spoilery. Not to mention that there are a few surprises in there for a couple of you. :D

Well, we've got a separate email for website/PDF stuff, aviario.ct at Gmail. I'm in the process of getting a Paypal account so that I can set things up with PayLoadz, and make things downloadable. Once I see a little more progress on that front, I'm going to make some of you my guinea pigs .... (mwahahahaaaa) so I can make sure that I've got everything working correctly.

Also, hey, Possible Outcome's been passed on for editing! No timetable on that yet, since our esteemed editor is in the middle of preparing to move her keister further down the East Coast, but we'll keep you posted.

About 90% of the text for the website's been written, too, it's just a matter of putting it up there - and I wanted to at least have a couple of PDFs available for download before we go live...

Still, I'm so excited about this, you all have no idea.

Collective Perception Update:

Book Two of Linearum Arcana is now 36 pages and two chapters strong - we're three scenes away from wrapping up Day One of plot.

And for those of you actually WATCHING this comm on your friends lists, guess what? You get a sneak peek. Because I love you. That's right, the next post is friends-only and it's ALL YOURS. Feel special!

Still picking away at the website. No, we're not giving out a preview, but you can at least go see our pretty new splash page.

Starting work on the website - we've got the layout figured out, I just need to finish the sidebar images and start helping Al code things, like the gallery and such.

The novel itself isn't going to be available online for a little while - we want to have it edited and proofed first. Plus, I need to figure out PDFs and PayPal and all that jazz.

Yes, that's right! We have an official, bonafide editor - the amazing and awesome believeitup - who deserves several congratulations for making it through Emerson relatively intact and unscathed!

The entry below this one is, indeed, a holdover from the RP. It's staying, though, for posterity, because I might pull stuff from it later. Also, because Jon and Kore are amazing.
