Um, hi. I'm that Nebula person that some of you might remember. If not, that's cool. But I used to write Supernatural and Buffy fic, and then I stepped away from LJ for quite some time.

I got married. I have a full time job as a writer/editor. I am crazy busy because my commute sucks. And currently I am hooked on the Hobbit, my original Tolkien love shining through. LotR was my first and forever loved fandom, and it's DARLING to be back in it. (Plus, Martin Freeman and Richard Armitage, amirite?)

I will not be here on LiveJournal very much, if at all. But I wanted to come and update where I AM.

My 'verse is made up of ficlets, short and finished. Some can be read without having read the others; others you need to read a previous one to understand. The timeline will be recorded here with the ages of the boys as the ficlets go.

The point of this 'verse is to fill in the gaps as to how Dean Winchester became the big brother we know and adore for his over-protectiveness with a certain little brother of his. *coughcoughOhSammycoughcough* Looking back at the multiple flashbacks we've seen of the boys when they were younger, Dean was the typical big brother: making fun of Sam, picking on him, annoyed by his being younger...like I said, the usual things.

So how did he become a VERY over-protective big brother? What turned Dean into...Dean?

These stories were/are written for that purpose.

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes and posts and messages: it was a lot of fun. I'm writing to you now because I get to finally say it. I've been there three days, and it's really mine.

Y'know how I've been looking for a full time job for, well, over two years? Been working multiple part times to try and cover bills? And how I said all I wanted for Christmas/Birthday/Any day of gifts was a new job?

I started Tuesday, paperwork was finished on my birthday. I have a shiny new job, full time, benefits and everything. As a writer working with the media.

I'll just sit here and be shiny for awhile and smile with no reason, okay?

Tumblr: it tells me I have notifications, some of them not new posts presumably, but I get nothing else. And apparently others get "someone new is following you" posts, which I didn't get except in my email. For example: I was told I had 8 new notifications. 5 of them were new posts. Where are the other 3? Where can I see the new notifications that aren't new posts? Is it tumblr, or is it me?

Thanks to everyone who commented on the Supernatural season 7 question: I think I will watch it, but not at the immediate moment. Right now, I'm dealing with my wedding that's coming up in September, job situations that are flying this way and that, and my birthday that's coming up on Monday. (25 on the 25th! Holy god that's a quarter of a century. I can talk about my name in terms of a CENTURY.) When I have half a moment to myself, I WILL watch the show. In the meantime, I've been filling my head with Avengers, and I finally got to see the new Sherlock from the BBC. Like I needed another amazing show to follow.

I haven't written anything in ages. It's killing me. My PC completely died, leaving me with an external hard drive that has who-knows-what on it, but I'mma see if there's anything on there so I can post something. This not writing thing is killing me. Astra's god knows where: little punk muse.

It's been one of those years.

I will not be watching the Supernatural finale for the first time in...who knows how many years. But I DO want to know what happens: this will be the deciding factor of if I spend my summer catching up on season 7 to watch season 8 (which, by the way show, good job moving out of the death zone of Friday nights and back to the living on Wednesday nights!!). So SPOIL ME. Tell me what happens!!
