Neil Evans posted thisA new challenge After 4 years at Pure where the team ‘smashed it out of the park’ it’s time to take on a new challenge. The people I’ve had the opportunity to work with and for, have been tremendous and it’s now so pleasing to see so many of them moving on to new and greater challenges as their success and skills are recognised in the marketplace. In particular our success would not have been possible without the efforts of Troy Wright, Ross Lynch, Zahir Shah, Damien Fox, Conor Carroll, Michael Alp, Jeff Sheard, Michael Boots, Chris Bannayan, Greg Schultz, Steve Gross, Nicholas Paddon-Rowe, Sam O’Halloran, Daniel Corbeski, Brett Boog, Jeff Popplestone, Justin Booth, Martin Paul, Paul Bruton, Michael Bishop and many others. For me, it’s now a trip to Europe, that’s only nine years overdue, to see the family, a lot of time on a new Motorcycle and continuing to play the guitar incredibly badly. I’m back in the Spring but as ever always interested in new opportunities so please reach out if there is something you need.

I’m looking for a bit of help. Unfortunately I have had to go on long term sick from the fantastic Capgemini due to having the misfortune of developing Bowel cancer. It’s now stage 4 and incurable. Too many people are touched by cancer, and in many cases dying unnecessarily. I am grateful for the trust, mentorship, and partnership we shared throughout this journey. I have learned a great deal during my time here. The most invaluable lesson has been understanding what it truly takes to transform at enterprise scale, and I am proud to have contributed to HPE's transformation over the past six and a half years. I leave with deep respect for the company and the people who make it what it is. I wish HPE continued success in the future.

What’s frustrated me is watching parts of the coverage turn into heat instead of truth. Details get stretched, motives get guessed, and it becomes more about viewership & politics, than people. I’m trying to remind myself, don’t buy into the BS. Pause. Check facts. Protect your head and your heart. And honestly, recruiting has the same problem right now. Everyone is selling “AI that’s better, faster, cheaper.” Some of it has potential but most of it is just noise. Same rule applies. Don’t bite. Use your head. How do you personally filter out the noise, in news and in business?
