Liam Royes posted this10 years at Salesforce! I remember 10 years ago, thinking that I needed a grown-ups job. That I needed to leave behind the start-ups, the high growth software companies and instead work for a big enterprise with serious scale and a massive impact. It turns out I joined a company that works at the pace of a start-up and is an incredible growth engine… all along with the scale of an enterprise. That hasn’t changed in 10 years. The pace has not slowed and it’s wonderful to now see the impact we are starting to have in an Agentic world. It’s also a great privilege to work for a company that invests in values, people, and creates a really great place to work. I’ve been in enough other situations to know that Salesforce is truly a great place to be and to invest in a flourishing career. I’m very grateful for all the people who supported me in this time. In particular Phil Walsh, Anne Bennett and Heather Quigley-Allen, MBA, MEd for their leadership.

Over the past few years I’ve had the opportunity to work across a range of complex banking, payments, operational finance, and financial infrastructure initiatives with teams across finance, operations, product, technology, treasury, and reconciliations. A big part of what’s made the role interesting has been working with strong teams across those areas while navigating increasingly interconnected operational and financial environments.
