This little plot-bunny has been harassing me for a while now. Any ideas would be *much* appreciated.
What if Gandalf had *not* died in Moria?
Imagine that all other canon factors are still in place. Answer with whatever you think might have happened, but try not to carry it out too far -- leave some room for someone to add on. For example, Bob could write "Boromir wouldn't go crazy." and Larry could add "And then Frodo wouldn't have left the fellowhip." If you don't agree with what someone else thought would be the outcome, post your own idea -- if you think Frodo would have left, take advantage of the way the LJ comment system works and start a new branch of that train of thought.
